Max Blondat Gilt Bronze "An Embrace" Figural Vide-Poche Dish
$35,000
This French Art Nouveau gilt bronze vide-poche dish, titled "An Embrace," by Max Blondat, is comprised of two deep, oblong dishes attached at the center. Where the two dishes meet, a natural motif reminiscent of frothing waves erupts, from which emerged two forms, both female figures, each stretching their torso toward the other from the opposite side of the composition.
