Set with over 14.00 carats of diamonds, the articulated bombé bracelet is designed as a series of overlapping 18K gold leaves mounted with curving lines of diamonds set in platinum. André Vassort was one of the great manufacturing jewelers in Paris whose time and skill were sought after by the leading Maisons such as Boucheron, Mauboussin and Van Cleef & Arpels. His atelier was located in the neighborhood of the Palais Royale, one of the traditional centers of the high end jewelry trade and a short walk from the Place Vendome, where his clients were located. Vassort had the versatility to produce both custom design for demanding royal and celebrity clients as well jewelry for stock.
