The Austrian sculptor Josef Öfner studied under Auguste Kühne and Otto König and was active in Vienna around the turn of the 20th-century. Like many of his peers, Öfner applied his skills to both decorative and visual arts, producing gilt bronze vases and trays in addition to figural busts.
