The Hillary pendant earrings are modeled on an elegant vintage pair that the gallery’s Creative Director Hillary Macklowe received as a gift from her husband Ben. Delighted by the compliments they inspired every time she wore them, Hillary decided to design a streamlined contemporary form with all the easy beauty of the originals. This design is a modern miniature interpretation of the popular Edwardian festoon motif, which is composed of floral elements connected by lengths of chain.
