Van Cleef & Arpels Paris Angelskin Coral "Philippine" Ring

Created around 1968, this coral and diamond Philippine ring was made by Van Cleef & Arpels Paris. The ring centers a rectangular field of pavé-set round brilliant-cut diamonds edged by wirework, and flanked by shaped angelskin coral shoulders. This elegant little finger jewel with unusual angelskin coral is packed with charm, and is stackable with other colorful VCA rings as well as diamond and gold bands.

This ring design appeared in the 1960s as part of the Van Cleef & Arpels "La Boutique" line, in colorful iterations set with agate, lapis, coral and onyx with the idea that the Philippine could be worn alone, or in twos and threes.
