Louis Majorelle Fruitwood Marquetry Table
$19,500
This marvelous French Art Nouveau table, by Louis Majorelle, features a fruitwood marquetry table top made not of straight, but sinuously bowing lines, and richly decorated with stark, triangular leaves arranged in sparse bouquets. The apron features a softer, more organic motif of three oversized orchid blooms, surrounded by striations of towering reeds and stems executed in dark wood.
