A Tiffany Studios New York glass and bronze “Tripod” candlestick, featuring a round ball top with a bobeche insert. The patinated bronze base includes a removable bronze snuffer. The Tripod candlestick was based on the tripod perfume burners of classical antiquity. These tripod perfume burners were revived during the neoclassical era, with their popularity reaching its zenith during Napoleon's reign.
