Louis Majorelle Mahogany Salon Table
This mahogany salon table with fruitwood marquetry, by Louis Majorelle, features a trillion-shaped table top that is elegantly rounded but meets in three distinct points. A French Art Nouveau piece, within its raised lip, borders three equally unique vignettes, on different shades of fruitwood, feature three unique motifs of swirling leaves and vines. The legs are decorated with bulbous vegetal blooms, the stems of which descend down the structure in a stylized manner. The under-tier of the table completes the piece with a slight swag motif.
